In the last ten years, the Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure has helped hundreds of people have some of the most meaningful experiences of their lives. They come to ride bikes and change lives by building houses along the way, but they leave finding themselves the ones truly changed and with friendships built for life.
In a typical ride week, we ride about 75 miles per day and have designated build days in which we stop to build or repair homes. We support each other as we ride, and we also have a van supporting us! We spend each night eating, sleeping and sharing the vision in churches — often to some of the most enthusiastic and warm welcomes you can imagine.
The event is an invitation, not a race — an invitation to break from the routine of daily life and follow Jesus’s call to love and serve our neighbor, especially “the least of these.” Thirty years from now, will you wish you spent more time in an office or more time out exploring beautiful countryside, getting your hands dirty and changing the world?
Our Annual Rides
Natchez Trace Parkway — Nashville, TN to Natchez, MS — April 6 – 15, 2018
This week-long, 400-mile ride down the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway allows riders to enjoy what ESPN rated as one of America’s ten best biking roads while contributing to the eradication of poverty housing.
Enjoy the picturesque countryside of Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi, with the option of a free van ride back to the starting point at week’s end. The ride is fully-supported, and we stay with churches as we go. Learn more.
Our first summer offering two separate routes across the country! Join us on Ocean to Ocean for a once in a lifetime cross-country adventure, or choose any number of week-long segments from either route. Help build homes as you travel and create incredible friendships within a supportive team environment.
The rides are fully supported and we stay in churches, enjoying fellowship with the followers of Christ along the way. Learn more about the event overall, or choose a segment from our twenty weeks of riding.
Dirt to D.C. — GAP and C&O Trails — September 14 – 23, 2018
As the newest member of the Bike Adventure family, the week-long Dirt to D.C. ride follows the wild, historic and unpaved routes of the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) and the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal (C&O) from Pittsburgh, PA to Washington, D.C.
Dirt to D.C. riders will enjoy the serenity of the Appalachian wilderness in early fall, cross the Eastern Continental Divide, and take in the sights of the nation’s capital. This ride is fully-supported, with rest stops every 18-25 miles. Bring your wide tires!
It’s back! Our fan-favorite weekend ride is back for 2018. This trail ride is largely flat and away from traffic, making it a perfect weekend spent on the bike. It offers 64 or 101 mile options the first day, and a 64 mile ride back to your car the second day. We will spend the night camping in the beautiful Chief Ladiga campground in Borden Springs, AL!
You don’t want to miss an awesome weekend of cycling, fellowship, and beautiful views. Learn more here!
