Report: Day 2

Written by: Scott Baker

Day 2 proved to be a shorter ride day. We spent the morning with the United Methodist Church. This very small church in Portsmouth NH had the most remarkable singing talent. A young woman had many in tears with her song of Christ. It was remarkable.
The ride along the beach was crazy. Traffic was insane on this great beach day. Fortunately, when we left the beach, Strava sent us on the shaded 25 mile ride with no traffic!

Our support staff is trying to over feed with wonderful treats. Truly, a remarkable day.

We are spending the evening at St. Mary the Assumption Parish in Lawrence, MA. They have very generously offered to feed us tonight. Showers at the YMCA a couple of blocks away.

3,000 calories burned.

Tomorrow we ride from Lawrence to Chepachet RI: 73.2 miles with + 3524 ft / – 3161 ft
