Donations make a difference

Followers of the FCBA may not be familiar with the Fuller Center’s Greater Blessing repair program. Many Americans lack the physical ability, or funds, to keep their home in a state of minimum repair. Through an application process through a covenant partner, this is where the Fuller Center can help.

On our workday in Craig, Colorado, I worked on a mobile home that needed a number of items addressed including a leaky roof. Among the materials we were given was a can of Flex Shot. A single can of Flex Shot was not going to seal all the leaks, and working with this product requires multiple coats with 24 hours between applications. So I pretty much felt our effort was futile.

The point I am trying to convey is that this homeowner needed their roof re-tarred but was unable to afford the $150 needed. Unfortunately, there are far too many people in this situation. Would you think twice about spending $150 to repair your roof if it leaked?

Even if you have already made a contribution to the FCBA, I ask that you join me and make an additional donation. Even small donations of $5 or $10 can add up if enough people contribute.
