I wanted to take a moment to share some heartfelt reflections and express my gratitude as we wrap up an incredible chapter of our Fuller Center Bike Adventure.
This journey has been so much more than just cycling—it has been a powerful testament to the Fuller Center for Housing’s mission as a faith-driven and Christ-centered organization. Rooted in Faith in Action, we strive to build collaborative and innovative partnerships, relentlessly pursuing our goal to provide adequate shelter to those in need around the world.
Throughout our 750-mile adventure, we were able to raise critical funds to address poverty housing and serve communities in Price and Provo, Utah. Our commitment to stewardship was clear as we stayed in churches along the route, making sure we honored God’s resources. Many of these churches were small, with limited means, yet their generosity in opening their doors to us was a moving demonstration of service and faith.
The Book of James teaches us that faith is best revealed through action—especially acts of service and compassion for those in need. It’s a poignant reminder that faith without works is lifeless, and that our beliefs shine brightest when expressed through tangible acts of love.
As we rode across the stunning Utah landscape, I found myself marveling at God’s creation and feeling grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside such wonderful companions.
