Our group is growing, with additional support drivers coming on board, one rider rejoining us from earlier in the ride, and another rider visiting with us as we pass through his hometown.

Today’s off-day in Roanoke included worship in a traditional setting, followed by a potluck and Fuller Center Bike Adventure presentation by Neil.  There were so many different dishes — how could we sample them all?  The church also secured free tickets to a minor league baseball game, which many in the group enjoyed.

But, for me, one thing tops them all: my wife, who I hadn’t seen in almost 4 months, joined the support team for the final week.  We are ready to tackle the upcoming hills, and complete this year’s cross-country ride!
