We wrapped up Week #1 of the Fuller Center Bike Adventure, crossing into Alabama from Georgia and finding refuge at the beautiful Plant City United Methodist Church in Lanett — hometown of late Fuller Center founder Millard Fuller.
After a well-deserved rest, we rejuvenated and spent quality time together, celebrating Sunday with our Lord.
Many of us attended the host church’s service, while others visited local churches in Lanett, sharing the mission of Fuller Center’s poverty housing initiative. Later, we explored Lanett and West Point, indulging in food trucks, ice cream, and essentials from local stores.
With a week under our belts, we shuffled chore teams and held a team meeting. Excitingly, four new riders joined us for Week #2.
The upcoming week promises thrilling adventures in Tennessee, featuring two Build Days and challenging rides with 80-100 miles and 4,000-6,000 feet of elevation gain daily.
