A day of rags and flags

Our ride today started with a nice cool morning and a devotional about the old man who offered “new rags for old rags.” It was a good reminder of what Jesus did for us on the cross.
Today we also saw many flags reminding us that today was Memorial Day, a day to remember those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom that we often take for granted.
We passed through farming country and even saw a fox cross the road in front of us. It became a very hot day and we were grateful for our volunteer team who kept us nourished and well hydrated on the ride.
