Into the Keys
January 24, 2025

By Cynthia Stevens-Pino
We started the day with a bit of a damp chill as we pulled out of Homestead for Tavernier.
The day warmed up as we entered the Keys and we even had a little peak of sunshine.
Snowy white egrets, great gray herons, ibis and osprey were hunting near shore. It was a pretty ride through farming communities and then transitioning to fishing communities interspersed with tourism.
Another day in the books as we head out tomorrow for Marathon.
