GARRY THOMPSON: A beautiful final day on the Silver Comet Trail

A beautiful final day on the Silver Comet

A beautiful day of riding in the Georgia sunshine and clear blue skies was had by all of the riders today as we traveled the Silver Comet Trail.

We traveled 55 miles, with Dan and Cindy providing two wonderful rest stops along the way, with food and snacks galore.

We just really enjoyed all of the scenery and the people, along with the beauty of God’s creation. We met some really interesting people and had a wonderful time learning about why they were traveling the trail.

It’s sad that the riding is over, but we’re now getting ready to spend two days assisting The Fuller Center for Housing with a build in Americus, Georgia.

We ended up tonight at First Presbyterian Church, who is hosting us for the next two days.
