Ferry-ing across the Mississippi River

We left the great hospitality of Mayfield KY to ride across the children’s roller coaster, smaller undulations than we have been riding, of Western Kentucky, enjoying the rolling hills of wheat and corn.
We arrived at the mighty Mississippi River to continue our adventure west, crossing the river via the Hickman Ferry.
We landed in Missouri, where our rider Mo’s home state welcomed him with a little rain.
We were able to make good time across the flatter farmland of Missouri, arriving at the last rest stop and being treated to ice cream. Thanks Paul!
After a brief stretch of gravel riding and working our way through a closed bridge, we arrived safely at our host church in Sikeston Mo.
