Build day in Alabama

Today’s build took place in Lanett, Alabama. Lanett is the town where Millard Fuller was born and grew up. The Chattahoochee Fuller Center Project based here has built 81 homes so far and is very active.
This morning, about 25 of us rolled up to Miss Rita’s house ready to work. We had four tasks for the day; to paint Miss Rita’s house and to install three doors — one inside door and two screen doors.
We had the house painted — twice — by lunchtime!
After enjoying a well-deserved lunch, we moved onto installing the doors.
