Flat terrain, but mountains of generosity

Today’s ride was fairly flat and mundane. There are no spectacular pictures of mountains but there are a couple of stories about the generosity of people.
At our last rest stop of the day, the support people went into a local establishment, the Frontier Diner, to buy some pies for dessert after dinner. They started talking to the owner about the Fuller Center and what we’re doing. The owner fixed 15 chocolate milk shakes and fried up some pickles, onion rings, and cheese curds for the riders!
The church we’re staying at tonight is only half built. The family that will occupy the building can’t even stay here yet. But they opened their doors and are letting us sleep on the floor. And they cooked us hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner! It’s through the generosity of folks like this that allows over 97% of the funds raised for the Bicycle Adventure to go straight to the Fuller Center.
