It was a grueling afternoon, and I personally would rather have climbed Monteagle in Tennessee again. But there was no rain! The scenery is beautiful and bucolic with rolling hills giving way to expansive prairie. The United Methodist Church in winner hosted us with kindness, vigorous air conditioning, and a delicious pasta dinner.
