Another incredible day on the Fuller Center Northern Tier Bicycle Adventure! Today’s route took us eastward from Escanaba, winding through the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan all the way to Naubinway.
A Morning Message of Purpose
We started our morning backlit with a stunning sunrise and a powerful and inspirational devotion led by Tim Bruce. He spoke about those moments in life when we might feel like we are in the wrong place at the wrong time. His message was a beautiful reminder that even when we feel lost or out of sync, God is ultimately steering us toward His will and placing us exactly where we need to be. It was the perfect mindset to carry into a day of riding.
Pavement, Progress, and Great Lakes Views
As we pedaled out, our route took us along Route 2, where we ran into a bit of road construction. They were actively prepping the road to be resurfaced—a minor bump in the ride, but a good reminder that progress takes a little work!
Any bumps on the road were easily forgotten thanks to the stunning views. We rode alongside Lake Michigan today, and having that massive, beautiful expanse of blue water keeping us company along the route was absolutely spectacular. There is nothing quite like the breeze and the scenery of the Great Lakes from the seat of a bicycle.
A Warm Welcome in Naubinway
After miles of beautiful shoreline, a friendly tailwind, and steady spinning, we rolled into our final destination for the day: Naubinway. We were treated to a wonderfully warm welcome at the Christian Fellowship Church. There is truly nothing better after a long day in the saddle than being greeted by kind faces, open doors, and a community ready to support our mission.
Every day on this journey brings new sights and deep connections. Looking forward to what tomorrow’s miles bring!
