What a day this has been! Last night we said goodbye to one of my favorite riders, Ann Coleman who went home from Pueblo & Jennifer, another short term rider, but who made such a good impression.

Last night, our leader, Neil made arrangements for 3 massage therapists to come in and do massages for us, that was so welcomed.

Today we were riding from Pueblo to Las Animas and we had a stop in a tiny town called Cheraw, and the local restaurant called Frontier diner made us each chocolate milkshakes and a tray of fried onions, pickles, jalapeños with dip. They were so gracious! Nicky the waitress brought this all out to us. 

The crown of today was stopping at the Calvary Church of Las Animas. These wonderful people have just moved into this church and are in the middle of renovating it and are not even open yet, but Pastor Dennis and his wife, and Clinton made room for us and cooked us burgers and hotdogs on the grill and salad, chips, drinks and desserts. We could not have been more appreciative of their hospitality!

We had some time to spend having conversation and getting to know one another after dinner. This has been one memorable day!
