A 4:45 a.m. wake-up call started a 101.5-miler from Baton Rouge to Eunice Louisiana.
A tour through the beautiful countryside passing through the bayous where a pair of cranes were spotted.
Next on the itinerary was passing by the awakening rice fields with the green sprouts coming alive. Dogs challenged us en route, too.
As a rookie rider, I have had a tremendous opportunity to ride with a talented group of cyclists who love serving each other, their community and Jesus.
God answered our prayers and held back the rain that was predicted for the day. Another example of how our amazing God is protecting us. To Him be the glory!
