A first-timer's perspective

As a first time rider on a Fuller Adventure, all I can say is that is has been an amazing experience!

Every ride day has had its unique adventure.  So on ride day 16, 90 miles was the longest ride to date.  We were warned when we left Lewes, Delaware that New Jersey roads were a little treacherous as they are filled with pot holes and not maintained.

Well… on this route through New Jersey, we were pleasantly surprised with wonderfully smooth roads, wide shoulders and tree lined streets.  To go along with the beautiful roads, we enjoyed sunny skies and a nice tailwind.  This was the first day we actually had some rolling hills!

The last 10 miles of the ride was an introduction to East Coast traffic as we hit heavy traffic into Manasquan, but as with all previous days, we made it to our destination church safely.

I can’t say enough about the Fuller family I have become a part of, a welcoming, faith based family with a true desire to end poverty housing.  The biking has become secondary to new friends and meeting our new friends at the build sites.
