Wednesday was our 3rd day of riding on our way to Flagstaff. Our route today took us 36 miles from Price, Utah to Castle Dale, Utah.
We had a great work day yesterday painting a clients house. The riding is nice but the real pleasure and satisfaction comes from being of service to those in need.
Our ride was really a good day with moderate headwinds as we arrived in Castle Dale. We are staying at the local recreation center.
After we stored our bikes we boarded a school bus that drove us 25 miles to The Little Grand Canyon. The “Little Grand Canyon” is a stunning 1,200-foot-deep gorge carved by the San Rafael River. Located in the northern San Rafael Swell, it is famous for its panoramic, crowd-free views. It’s 80 miles long.
We got to witness God’s hand in helping The Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure. While we were at dinner, two men saw us and our shirts and started asking questions. Turns out one of them was a local pastor and he offered to pay for our dinners, but we already had gifts cards. He also said the next time The Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure comes through he would gladly host the team.
