What a terrific last full day in Michigan! Much of the wildfire smoke has cleared, cooler weather, and clear skies made for a wonderful riding day.
Early roads were busy with Monday-morning traffic, but then we were able to move onto the beautiful paved Lakelands Trail.
While riding through Ann Arbor, I was able to stop again at the coffee shop my son worked at during college at UM, which brought back some good memories of visiting him there.
The highlight of the day, however, was the fantastic welcoming dinner provided by our host church, Milan Free Methodist Church. Besides great food, a number of parishioners gathered to support us and listen to a short presentation about the Fuller Housing mission and how the Bike Adventure is an integral part of that.
All-in-all, a great last day in Michigan. Thanks for the great send-off Milan!!!
