One of the Grand-est views in America

What a perfect trip this is turning out to be. First rest day in Flagstaff, second one in Jacob Lake – gateway to the north rim of the Grand Canyon. No one froze camping overnight X 2 and everyone got to see the canyon.
We were joined by Dave’s friend and Fuller alumnus, John Fender, who now lives in the area and made sure we didn’t miss a thing. We had our first campfire of the trip and dinner(s) excelsior of hotdogs, leftovers, and pies provided by John. We saw snow and antelope and enjoyed a steps away café and coffee machine. And when it was time to leave, it was all downhill 😉
