You Made It!

You made it; you made it; you made it to my blog post, my blog post, my blog post! Welcome to my blog post! Can you say support staff going crazy?! Woo-hoo!

What a dream it has been to support these awesome bikers along their journey of crossing the country while also building and repairing houses along the way. For the past two years of college, going on three, I have had the amazing opportunity of being a resident assistant at my college, and what a ride that has been. That position has opened my eyes to many different areas of how to build community between people, how to love others, and it has even showed me more about how to have faith in the Lord.

When I heard about The Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure about a year and a half ago, I had absolutely no idea that this would be how I would be spending my summer. But, can I just say this has been an adventure of a lifetime? It has been such a gift meeting all the people I have encountered, along with working alongside them in order to get the job done. I have had the pleasure of setting up the rest stops, cheering for each rider as they come through, working alongside them as we work together at worksites, and just being able to enjoy the one-on-one conversations with everyone. I could not imagine my summer without The Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure and their mission to end poverty housing.
