Our day started with the FCBA ride orientation that gives everyone the opportunity to get to know more about the Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure and also to know each other better before riding.
Alice Caldwell: A safe harbor at the end of the road

We rode from Tavernier Key to Marathon Key on Saturday, January 15 under blue, cloudless skies. People were fishing from the bridges and the water was blue merging with emerald green. With only 37 miles to ride, we took our time and enjoyed the cool breezes and warm sun. It was hard to imagine that back home, temperatures were dropping and snow was beginning to fall.
On Sunday, our build day, we had the privilege of attending the Methodist Community Church that had housed us so generously for three nights at the start of our bike trip. The pastor preached from Mark about John the Baptist.
We spent Monday night at Cocoa Beach Community Church, a very welcoming and giving church. The entire church building was open to us so we each found a place to settle in and get comfortable.
