Only a couple more days of riding. As we ride our days, it’s remarkable how all of us have changed over the course of this ride across the US. Riders have come together to form strong bonds from various parts of life, in addition to the realization that we are all a part of something bigger than ourselves.

This morning we were up by 4:30 a.m. in anticipation of today’s 3,845-foot elevation gain from Dubois, WY into the Absaroka mountain range and up to the summit of the Togwotee Pass to 9,655 feet, located on the Continental Divide, on our way down through the Teton National Park into Jackson, WY.

We spent the weekend at the Northland Cathedral in Kansas City. Most of us attended the worship service there Sunday morning. The minister spoke on Numbers 20 when Moses “struck the rock” to provide water versus God asked Moses to “speak to the rock”. Pastor’s summary: Listen and trust in God.
