Tour de Florida 2023

Thursday, January 5th - Sunday, January 22nd, 2023

This 2-week ride offers the opportunity to escape winter’s cold and enjoy the endless sun of southern Florida, all while creating an opportunity to serve those in need of a decent place in which to live.

It has all the components of a perfect Fuller Center ride…great routes, great church hosts, and 2 great build days!

Plus, the Fuller Center will transport you and your bike back to the start from Key West at the end of the event.

What to expect on the Tour de Florida:

  • 13- days of riding, typically 70-75 miles per day
  • 2-Build days with Fuller Centers in Tallahassee and Brooksville
  • High temperatures typically average in the 70’s
  • Ocean views from your bike seat
  • A finish riding through the unique beauty of the Florida Keys

The Perfect Winter Ride

What do you expect biking in Florida this winter?  Warm weather, tree lined roads, coastal waters, and bike paths.  Those are some of the many aspects of Florida that make this ride so popular.

Our Tour de Florida is a beautiful route, but the beauty is not only in the scenery. It’s an opportunity that connects your riding and fundraising to the families we serve, with two builds along the way.

Many riders come to ride our events for the riding itself, yet most quickly realize how much bigger these events are than what was expected from a typical ride.  Join us to learn why.

There is a lot to love on the Bike Adventure’s Tour de Florida!

2 Weeks to Choose From!

Can’t join us for the full 2 weeks? Pick your favorite segment and join us for as long as you can!

Click the segment headings below to view details and day-by-day schedules.

Segment 1: Begins on Thursday January 5 in Tallahassee FL and ends on Sunday January 15th in Sarasota FL.  This segment will have a variety of roads to cover, but also include rolling hills, tree lined roads, and many rail to trail routes as we navigate to and around the Gulf.  Plus, you will also experience both of our scheduled builds in Segment 1.

Arrival:  (TLH) Tallahassee International Airport.

Departure:  (SRQ) Sarasota Bradenton International Airport

Segment 2 begins in Sarasota Florida on Sunday January 15 and ends in beautiful Key West on Sunday January 22.

You should expect some riding along the coast, parts of the Florida Everglades, and the culture of the Florida Keys. Typically weather will become noticeably warmer as you travel south in this segment, and you may even want to get out your swimsuit to swim in the ocean while in the keys. Not a bad way to deal with winter.

Arrival: (SRQ) Sarasota Bradenton Airport.

Departure: (EYW) Key West International Airport or the Fuller Center Van will transport you back to our starting church in Tallahassee, FL.
