Santa Barbara, CA to San Diego, CA
After a glorious off day spent soaking in lovely Santa Barbara, we will kick off our final segment with 64 miles into the infamous Malibu, CA. Surrounded by the trio of Zuma, Trancas, and Solstice canyons, Malibu has more natural beauty to offer than just beach. If you find yourself with the time, explore the coastal campus of Pepperdine University, which sports Bike Adventure Blue & Orange on their jerseys as well.
Seventy more miles will lead us to Huntington Beach, CA, passing through Los Angeles on the way. While in Huntington Beach, indulge in the excellent surfing the 9.5 mile stretch of beach has to offer, or explore the vibrant downtown, including a well-known art center. We will spend the next day in service with our partners in Huntington Beach!
Our second to last ride day welcomes us to Oceanside, CA. Home of the California Surf Museum, the Oceanside Pier, and many more beach-themed excursions, Oceanside will not disappoint if a Southern-California education is what you desire.
To wrap up our trip appropriately, we will build affordable housing for those in need. This will give us one great last chance to bond over serving others as we prepare for the victory lap into San Diego.
Our official last day will surely be emotional as we wrap up with a neat 40 miles…relish the moments as you complete your West Coast journey!
