Day 1

By Ky Griffin

In our fast-paced world, to have the opportunity to experience life at the pace of a bicycle reminds us to: look up at night to see the moon and stars, look around to see the beauty of nature, the flowers and birds, and look into our hearts to be thankful for all that God has provided.

After the pastor of our host church in Portland, OR, The Colonial Heights Presbyterian, blessed and reminded us that their members as well as many others across America were praying for us. We officially road out starting The Fuller Center Parks & Peaks Adventure. We enjoyed beautiful views of Portland and The Columbia River as we climbed over 2300 feet into The Oregon Wine Country. Our host church tonight, The First Presbyterian Church of McMinnville, OR provided a delicious supper after engineering an onsite shower facility (see picture). We are thankful for all the Lord has provided to us this day. Thank you for following our adventure and supporting us and the Fuller Affordable Housing Movement with your donations and prayers.
